Bizao is a growing company with around fifty employees spread between Paris, Abidjan, Dakar, Kinshasa, Douala and Tunis. Given the complexity and transversality of the challenges linked to the digitalization of payments, we have formed a complementary, dynamic team, passionate about Africa, bold and multicultural.
A growth engine for modern businesses in Africa
Bizao is a Fintech with a 100% Telecom DNA whose head office is in Paris and which operates in around ten African countries with an IT center of excellence based in Dakar. Since 2019, Bizao has built a vast network of banking partners and telecom operators in Africa which already allows it to cover a market of 200 million mobile subscribers.
Originating from an intrapreneurship project within the Orange group, Bizao has been an independent company since 2019 which employs more than 80 employees and whose technical platform processes 36.7 billion transactions per year. To provide comprehensive expertise to customer payment digitalization issues, we have formed a multicultural team from organizations such as Orange, KPMG, Capgemini, Atos, Western Union, GIM UEMOA, Societe Generale, etc.
At Bizao, we are passionate about Africa and all emerging areas with underbanked populations, and strongly driven by the desire to nurture numerous talents and in particular women in Fintech professions on the continent.

Aurélien DUVAL-DELORT
Founder and CEO
A veteran of the telecoms industry, he drew on his deep understanding of the business and technology opportunities in the mobile payment ecosystem to create Bizao in 2019.

Bizao’s story is marked by a successful exit from the Orange Group, a quest for independence and an ongoing commitment to the development of the financial sector in Africa.
Aurélien holds a Master of Science in Management from ESSEC Business School in France.
Aliou KOMOTA
Chief Product & Technical Officer
He has 10 years’ experience in telecoms at Orange and Huawei, where he developed expertise in APIs. In his last position, he was responsible for innovation at Orange in Mali.
Juliette DOMBRET
Chief Legal and HR Officer
After practicing as a lawyer in M&A and private equity departments, Juliette was legal director of the fast-growing Baobab Group, a leader in digital financial inclusion in Africa and China. Drawing on her African experience, she joined BIZAO in November 2020.
Chaouki BEN KHEMIS
Chief Financial Officer
With over 20 years’ experience in consulting and telecommunications, Chaouki Ben Khemis stands out for his expertise in corporate strategy and financial management. Holding key positions such as CFO and interim CEO at Moov Groupe Etisalat, as well as senior roles at prestigious companies such as Tunisie Telecom, Maroc Telecom, and SFR, he has forged a successful career focused on optimizing financial results and implementing effective strategies. His career illustrates influential leadership in the telecommunications sector.
